I started crocheting in March 2024 because I was sick to death of looking at my phone just because I wanted something to do with my hands. Crochet seemed like the most productive use of my time as a substitute that wouldn’t land me in trouble for doing it in public.

The best thing about learning to crochet was how much it made me laugh, because my humble first attempts were – to say the least – charmingly ugly. I can’t even express how proud I was of this little worm that took me the best part of an hour to complete. Nevertheless, I was hooked (pun intended).
I soon discovered that I favour large costuming projects that become all consuming and take over my brain as well as my studio. The first full piece I made beyond practising row upon row of various stitches was a personalised jumper dress. With a hood. And matching gloves, handbag, and boot covers.
And well, such is the will of hyperfixation, I just kept going…

If you’re interested in commissioning a piece, please get in touch to have a yarn (see what I did there?). Prices vary dependent on scale, complexity, and materials used, but I work fast and charge reasonably! Plus, you can rest assured that your unique piece will be lovingly and obsessively yanked into existence while I listen to MLM audiobooks and drink so much coffee I hear angels giggling.
